ASUS and Intel have partnered to unveil a new AI developer toolkit designed to streamline the creation and deployment of AI-powered applications dramatically. Announced today in Taipei, this next-generation toolkit will support developers working on intelligent systems, focusing on making AI more accessible across industries such as retail, security, and industrial automation.
AI Developer Toolkit to Accelerate Edge Computing on NUC 15 Pro
Designed to run seamlessly on devices like the ASUS NUC 15 Pro—equipped with the latest Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processors—the AI SuperBuild toolkit equips developers with powerful tools to convert, optimize, and deploy AI models with speed and precision. This significantly cuts down development time and reduces the complexity involved in integrating AI into edge systems.
Tailored for independent software vendors (ISVs) and system integrators (SIs), the toolkit empowers teams to build and customize intelligent applications across industries. In retail, for example, developers can implement AI solutions to track customer behavior, enhance store layout decisions, and drive better product decisions.
ASUS and Intel’s Joint Push for Practical AI Adoption
KuoWei Chao, General Manager of ASUS IoT and NUC Business Unit, stated, “Our goal is to provide ISVs and SIs with the resources they need to quickly and efficiently integrate AI into their solutions. This toolkit will allow developers to deploy models on devices like the NUC 15 Pro and build innovative applications.”
Intel Vice President Todd Lewellen praised the ASUS NUC team, highlighting the toolkit’s capacity to help developers “optimize and select existing AI models seamlessly.” The collaboration represents a shared goal between the two tech giants: to make AI adoption more practical and efficient across enterprise and consumer applications.
Toolkit Bridges AI Gaps in IT and IoT
Dr. Olena Zhu, Chief AI Architect for Intel’s Client Ecosystem, emphasized the broader impact: “This approach bridges deployment gaps and accelerates the path to real-world AI adoption.” She added that simplifying AI workflows can reduce the learning curve, making it easier for developers to turn ideas into working solutions.
By targeting both IT and IoT communities, the toolkit enables cross-platform scalability and real-world implementation. From healthcare to manufacturing, this initiative could fast-track innovation, especially in AI at the edge.
ASUS and Intel Set the Standard for AI Model Deployment
With the AI SuperBuild toolkit, ASUS and Intel are setting a new standard for AI development by combining hardware performance with software ease of use. The solution empowers developers to go from concept to deployment more efficiently, accelerating the rollout of intelligent systems across key sectors.
The toolkit will be publicly available in 2H 2025 and is expected to support a wide range of use cases for both enterprise and embedded systems. Developers can preview it at Computex 2025, Booth M0820.
