VIRTUAL Price Prediction for September 9, 2025
VIRTUAL price action was aggressively volatile throughout, opening with a descending channel framing the day’s low at $1.2378. A MACD golden cross at 03:05 IST unleashed an upside breakout. Fueling price higher and etching out a support zone at $1.2625. Momentum remained above this level as a range developed and broke to the upside again at 11:40 IST. Supported by another golden cross. Price urged extra progress, creating a descending triangle that ended in the $1.3381 daily peak. Traders now observe as token approaches potential breakout to $1.4000 or downside risks to $1.2400.

Chart 1: VIRTUAL/USDT M5 Chart, Analysed by Vallijat007, published on TradingView, September 9, 2025
VIRTUAL price had developed the downward moving channel that defined day low at $1.2378. The channel broke out to the upside at 03:05 IST, bolstered by golden cross of MACD and price spiked to the upside creating a support at $1.2625. Price honoured the support and consolidated into a range, which provided a breakout to the upside at 11:40 IST, supported by MACD golden cross. Price leapt to the upper boundary of an emerging converging triangle pattern. That’s what made that converging triangle, the high for the day at $1.3381. If the pattern breaks out to the upside, VIRTUAL may then advance to the $1.4000 level. If the pattern breaks out to the downside, VIRTUAL may drop to $1.2400.
VIRTUAL Token Surges on Protocol Upgrades & AI Momentum
Virtuals Protocol announced the Genesis platform upgrade in August, which has already excited investors — offering three distinct staking tiers at 21K, 42K and 100K VIRTUAL tokens. This strategy, combined with a hefty 15% token supply reallocation to community incentives, apparently is meant to ease selling pressure and also encourage longer-term holding.
The technical picture appears promising with VIRTUAL recovering its 30-day simple moving average at $1.20 and then the important 200-day SMA at $1.31. MACD histogram recently turned positive at +0.0189 and RSI is 55.01, suggesting upside momentum that is not yet overbought. Market watch $1.30 resistance, the 38.2% fib retracement. A clean break above this level may take the token to the next target at $1.37, the 23.6% Fibonacci level.
The broader AI crypto space revived excitement, with VIRTUAL surfing this narrative wave. The protocol’s upcoming Shenzhen meetup, announced alongside the Genesis upgrade, highlights audacious plans for AI agent deployment on Ethereum’s network. And despite recent victories, VIRTUAL yet fights its 36% decline during the last 90 days. The token’s ability to maintain support above $1.30 with continued staking adoption will be crucial for additional upside momentum.
VIRTUAL Balances Strength and Risk
VIRTUAL seems to be retreating to regroup off its highs having reclaimed its log trend supports of $1.2625 and resistance near $1.3381. A sustained breakout may lead the token to reclaim $1.4000 and fibonacci targets above, supported by a healthy RSI and bullish MACD. On the downside, failure to hold the $1.2625 support jeopardizes returning the token back down into the $1.2400 area, endangering its immediate bullish structure. Things such as Genesis staking tiers, community incentives and red-hot AI momentum support the narrative, but traders remain wary. Holding adoption, volume confirmation AND resistance breaks to boot – all required for VIRTUAL’s next stance.
